  • March | The conclusion of the exchange and cooperation between North Bangkok University and WREA, president’s special lecture, Thailand’s traditional dance performance, Thailand’s traditional plays, and the designated university of recreations

2011

Participated, presented a paper, and provided recreation activities in an Asian academic conference held in Taiwan in January

    Held an invited lecture of Chairman Chin-Lung Fang of Taiwan at our association in February
  • April | Visited Yanbian University in China, a sister university of our association, during which President Young-kee Lee gave a special lecture and discussed measures for exchanges
  • May | Visited Dalian City in Liaoning to discuss recreation exchanges with the director-general of sports
  • June | Visited Capital University of Physical Education and Sports, a sister university of our association, and invited to our association three Chinese Communist Party clerks other than Hong-Kang Lee for exchanges
    - Provided remote training of two and four credits linked with elementary, middle and high school teachers’ summer vacation training organizations in July
    - Participated in the World Congress in December (Cairo, Egypt)
    - Exchanged recreation with the Middle East and Africa in December

  • Invited Dean Cheon-sik Lee of the Sports College of Yanbian University and Professor Cheol-gwon Choi to deliberate on measures for exchanges between Korea and China
  • Opened work training course for teachers of elementary, junior high and high schools (title : Live recreation for teachers)
  • Training of about 100,000 people for the recreation and laughter leader certificates
  • Permanent Inter-exchange Agreement with WREA & ICHPER.SD(UN Advisory Council, IOC Certified Institute, 168 Member Countries)

  • Invited special lecture and Q&A with Tian Ye, head of the National Research Institute of Sports Science of China; deliberate on measures for exchanges between Korea and China

  • Participated in a six country international conference held in Guangzhou, China; WREA president's presentation (presentation title: Games and measures for recreation exchanges for world peace and enhanced friendships between countries)
  • Collected information on games and recreation in ten countries and showed online videos of them

  • Participated in a seminar hosted by Yanbian University, China
  • Held a three country international conference with Korea, China, and Japan participating
  • Held signing ceremonies for exchanged and cooperation with Yanbian University and Beijing Capital Institute of Physical Education(CIPE) in China

2006

  • Changed the name of the World Recreation Exchange Commission to World Recreation Educational Association (WREA)
  • Held exchanges on games and recreation with Thailand

  • Held an international conference with Korea, Japan and the United States participating
    (topic: Games in the countries of the world in a global era, measures for recreation exchanges)
  • Carried out activities to hold the World Leisure Congress and Leisure Expo
